TL;DR – Steve Loves Carol.

This is the Steve that a beautiful, accomplished corporate executive chick named Carol picked up on Fitness-Singles on November 12, 2021. She didn’t mean to pick me up, and I didn’t read anything into her passing “hello”, but the encounter turned out to be the defining moment in our love lives.
I didn’t hesitate to reply to her nonchalant introduction, because she was basically just saying it was nice to see someone was living out there in the wild. Unwittingly, the ensuing conversations led to so much more, at a distance.
A big coincidence (God Wink, Carol calls it) is that I had been a free member on FS but wasn’t able to communicate with anyone until November 12th, the day “CJ Jewel” sent that first message stating that she liked my profile and liked what I’d been up to. I replied that day, and the rest is history.
On December 6, 2021 I sent these two texts to Carol, “Dear Carol, thank you for extra special conversations, but the distance between us is too far.”
“So are you available for a somewhat late dinner this Friday?”
On December 10th I was in the air, and in her house.
By November 18th we had moved our text conversations off of FS and onto our smartphones. These are the first and second photos of myself that I sent to Carol that day. They were my most recent, and goofiest – I think I was testing the waters, or her capacity for goofiness (the hair style), and perhaps her penchant for thrill seeking (the motorcycle).

Now I am elated to be the CTO of Carol.
Carol claims to be technologically challenged, and I’m a tech geek, so I’ll help her navigate the intricacies of the technologies of the day.
I’ve been in I.T. since 1995 when I got interested in what makes things happen on the Interwebs. I began teaching myself programming languages and then went to college a second time, and graduated in 2000 (the year of my son’s birth) as a Software Engineer. I was drafted by a military simulator company while in college, due to my high GPA, and worked in that capacity for a couple of years before my love of the Web drew me back in as a Webmaster. That led to more and more design and Internet Marketing, and I set out on my own in 2007.
